The Culture Ministry has created a faster framework to secure nationally protected cultural assets and affected historic centres.

Reversible first aid

Permitted measures include shoring, temporary roofs, protection of openings, fencing, signs, safeguarding movable objects and temporary control of cracks, earth or moisture.

Permanent works excluded

The resolution does not authorise demolition, permanent repair or reinforcement, reconstruction, expansion, restoration or structural alteration.

Registration and report

Interventions must be registered beforehand and an illustrated report filed within one month. Work must stop if a major risk emerges.
