A Boeing 747 delivered 77.6 tonnes of assistance to El Dorado airport. Four trucks then departed for Valle del Cauca.

Tents and blankets

The shipment includes 1,900 tents and 7,000 thermal blankets.

Water and power

It contains 15 mobile purifiers rated at 500 litres per hour, with up to 50,000 litres announced, 20 5.5 kVA diesel generators and 200 solar lamps.

Local distribution still to come

The shipment also includes 200 motor sprayers and children’s materials. Territorial authorities are to organise distribution; the trucks’ departure does not mean the goods have reached beneficiaries.
