Mayor Alejandro Eder says dozens of additional structures may require demolition after assessment. No final list has yet been issued.

One hundred and seven collapses

The municipal report mentions 107 total or partial collapses. Areas under surveillance include Molino Rojo, Los Cámbulos, Vanessa, Capri, Roosevelt, Cuarto de Legua and Atalanta.

About 8,000 families recorded

The municipal census lists around 8,000 affected families. The city declared manifest urgency to speed up the response.

Aid needed for months

The Red Cross estimates that critical aid will be required for at least three months and possibly up to six.
