Deportivo Cali closed its Álex Gorayeb administrative headquarters as a precaution after earthquake-related damage. The club is awaiting an assessment before staff can return to the offices.
A safety closure
Director Felipe Restrepo said employees no longer had access to the headquarters. The closure is precautionary and is not yet a final condemnation of the building.
Visible damage
Published information mentions cracks, fallen kiosks and roof damage.
Work reorganised
Some administrative staff are working remotely and others have moved to the Pance facilities.
Training continues
Sporting activity continues despite the office closure. The assessment will need to establish repairs and reopening conditions.
