Pereira city authorities have published an initial picture of the local economic effects, with the city centre the hardest-hit area.
More than nine businesses in ten
Of 5,122 establishments surveyed, 4,658 report being affected. The census associates 15,687 jobs with those businesses.
Two thousand seven hundred and eighty-one unable to operate
The report says 2,781 businesses could not operate at the time of the survey.
Retail and food
Categories include 1,274 shops and retail businesses and 869 restaurants, bakeries and food businesses.
