A collection during the Torneo Internacional del Joropo enabled Meta to send 26 tonnes of aid to Pereira.
Kits for families
The shipment includes 1,352 food kits, 1,308 hygiene kits and 150 night kits.
Water, animals and hospital
It also contains 100 water packages, 151 kilograms of animal food and hospital supplies.
A two-stage collection
About 12 tonnes were gathered during a 12-hour collection. The shipment reached Pereira, but final household distribution is not detailed.
