Risaralda’s government said at 6:16 p.m. on August 15 that 90% of departmental connectivity had been restored. Its message also describes temporary resources deployed to support the emergency response.

A departmental rate

The 90% figure comes from the departmental government. The calculation method and included operators are not detailed.

Sixty-four Wi-Fi zones

Of 80 Wi-Fi zones mentioned, 64 are reported operating. Their locations are not listed.

Thirteen satellite antennas

Thirteen Starlink antennas were installed at points described as strategic for emergency organisations.

Areas still isolated

The department does not identify municipalities or communities still without service, or whether restoration fully covers voice and data.
