UNGRD’s consolidated report as of 7 p.m. raises the registered death toll after the earthquake to 312. It covers 470 municipalities and remains provisional.

An evolving human toll

The agency lists 4,611 injured, 290 missing and 358 rescued. At 6:30 a.m. it reported 304 deaths, 4,548 injured, 426 missing and 356 rescued; the differences reflect a new consolidation.

Nearly 300,000 people affected

The national scope covers 143,470 families, or 294,278 affected people across 15 departments and 470 municipalities.

Homes and services

UNGRD lists 134,124 damaged homes, 29,548 destroyed homes, 277 collapsed buildings, 335 health centres, 3,421 schools, 4,028 community centres, 432 roads, 97 aqueducts, 52 road bridges, 13 footbridges and five affected airports. It also lists 485 animals rescued and 1,308 affected.
