Mayor Alejandro Char announced on August 11 at 2:05 p.m. that the collection centre at carrera 43 # 6-120 in Barranquillita would remain open around the clock. It accepts non-perishable food, new or good-condition clothing, mattresses, hygiene products, baby items, pet food and medical supplies.
Char took part in receiving donations and unloading one truck of groceries. The sources do not allow that scene to be converted into an amount already transported or distributed.

El Heraldo published the mayor’s announcement of 50 tonnes of supplies at 3:13:01 p.m. With no separate time for the announcement, it appears at 3:00 p.m. in the timeline as a retrospective addition.
A Caracol Radio follow-up published on August 12 at 4:53 a.m. confirms that collection continued. It provides no departure time for the full batch, list of destinations or confirmation of arrival.
